NOTIFICATION REGARDING THE RECEPTION OF HOLY EUCHARIST

教会は常に、御聖体拝領のための適切な準備の必要について教えて来ました。

A Igreja sempre ensinou a necessidade da devida preparação para a recepção da Sagrada Comunhão.

The Church always taught the necessity of the proper preparation for the reception of the Sacred Communion.

そのような準備は、特に霊的なものですが、外部行動的・形式的な側面も含みます。御聖体を受けるためには以下のことが要求されます。

Tal preparação é, antes de tudo, espiritual, mas inclui também aspectos materiais e formais. Para se receber bem a Santíssima Eucaristia, deve-se:

Such preparation is, above all spiritual, but also includes material and formal aspects. To receive the Holy Eucharist, must be:

a. 成聖の状態にあること、すなわち、霊魂にどのような大罪もないこと。

a. Estar em estado de Graça santificante, o que significa dizer, que não se tenha nenhum pecado grave na alma;

a. Being in a state of sanctifying grace, which is to say, that did not have any mortal sins in the soul;

b. 御聖体拝領で何を受けようとしているのかを理解していること、すなわち、私たちの霊魂の食物、主の御体・御血・御霊魂・御神性である御聖体と、私たちの肉体のための食物である通常のパンとを、区別できていること。

b. Saber a quem se vai receber na Sagrada Comunhão, ou seja, ser capaz de distinguir o Pão Eucarístico, Corpo, Sangue, Alma e Divindade do Senhor, alimento de nossa alma, do pão comum, alimento do nosso corpo;

b. Know what you are going to receive in Holy Communion, in other words, be able to distinguish the Eucharistic Bread, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the Lord, food of our soul, from the common bread, food of our body;

c. 御聖体拝領のための断食を守ること、すなわち、御聖体拝領前の一時間はどのような食物も取らないこと。水と薬はその限りにあらず。

c. Guardar o jejum eucarístico, ou seja, não tomar nenhum alimento durante o período de 1 hora que antecede a Sagrada Comunhão. Água e medicamentos não quebram o jejum.

c. Keep the Eucharistic fast, in other words, not to take any food during the period of 1 hour before Holy Communion. Water and medicine do not break the fast.

これらは適切な御聖体拝領のための基本的なガイドラインです。当然、実り多い御聖体拝領は、これらの規則の単なる遵守を遙かに超えたものです。私たちは、御聖体拝領で私たちに来られる主を、心からの愛を以て迎えねばなりません。

São estas as indicações fundamentais para a recepção digna da Sagrada Eucaristia. Naturalmente que a recepção frutuosa depende muito mais do que o simples cumprimento destas regras: é preciso acolher amorosamente o Senhor que vem ao nosso encontro, na Sagrada Comunhão.

These are the fundamental guidelines for the worthy reception of the Holy Eucharist. Naturally, the fruitful reception depends much more than the mere fulfillment of these rules: we must lovingly receive the Lord who comes to us in Holy Communion.

更に、御聖体拝領は、外部行動的に、教会によって定められた幾つかの形式に沿って行なわれなければなりません。

Além disso, materialmente, a recepção da Sagrada Comunhão deve realizar-se através das diversas formas indicadas pela Igreja:

Furthermore, materially, the reception of Holy Communion must take place through several forms specified by the Church:

a. 司祭や臨時御聖体奉仕者が「キリストの御体」と言った後、必ず「アーメン」と答えなければなりません。

a. Sempre respondendo “AMÉM” após o Sacerdote ou o Ministro Extraordinário da Comunhão Eucarística ter dito “O Corpo de Cristo”;

a. Always responding "Amen" after the priest or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion have said "The Body of Christ";

b. 御聖体を立って受けることを希望する信者は、口に受けるにしろ手に受けるにしろ、尊敬と崇拝のしるしとして、受ける前に深いお辞儀をしなければなりません。

b. Desejando receber a Sagrada Eucaristia em pé, seja diretamente na boca ou na mão, antes deve-se fazer uma inclinação profunda, como sinal de respeito e adoração;

b. Wishing to receive the Holy Eucharist standing, either directly in the mouth or hand, beforehand you must make a profound bow, as a sign of respect and adoration;

c. 手で御聖体を受ける時、左の掌を開いて差し出します。そして右手をその下に添えます。そして、御聖体授与者の面前で、御聖体を口に運びます。そのためには右手を使います。

c. Recebendo a Sagrada Eucaristia na mão, deve-se estender a mão esquerda, espalmada, e colocando a mão direita por baixo desta, depois, na frente de quem entregou a Sagrada Comunhão, leva-se a Sagrada Comunhão à própria boca, usando para isto a mão direita;

c. Receiving the Holy Eucharist in the hand, one should extend the left flattened hand, and putting the right hand underneath this, then, in front of whom gave Holy Communion, the Holy Eucharist is taken to his mouth, using for this the right hand;

d. 御聖体を跪いて受ける時は──従って、口で受ける時は──どのような事前の動作も必要とされません。

d. Recebendo-se a Sagrada Comunhão de joelhos, e portanto, na boca, não está previsto nenhum tipo de gesto anterior.

d. When the Holy Eucharist is received kneeling, and therefore in the mouth, any previous gesture is not expected.

この司牧書簡によって、聖アントニオ・カテドラルに於ける2011年の主の降誕の夜半のミサ以降、司教である私は、可能な限り、御聖体を、カテドラルの中央通路に置かれた跪き台に跪いた人々に与えるであろうことを、お伝えします。他の司祭たち及び臨時御聖体奉仕者たちは、他の場所で、他の方法で拝領したい傾向のある人々に、御聖体を配布します。

Nesta NOTA PASTORAL gostaria de comunicar que, a partir da Missa da Noite do Natal do Senhor de 2011, na Catedral Santo Antonio, o Bispo Diocesano distribuirá sempre que possível, a Sagrada Comunhão para pessoas ajoelhadas em genuflexório, colocado no corredor central da Catedral. Os demais sacerdotes e Ministros Extraordinários da Comunhão Eucarística continuarão a distribuir a Comunhão nos outros locais, para as pessoas que costumam comungar nas demais formas.

In this PASTORAL NOTE I inform that, from the Midnight Mass of Christmas, 2011, in St. Anthony Cathedral, the Diocesan Bishop, whenever possible, will distribute the Holy Eucharist to kneeling people on kneelers placed in the center aisle of the Cathedral. The other priests and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion will continue to distribute Communion in other places for people who tend to commune in other ways.

この決定の基本的な理由は、キリスト信者は御聖体を跪いて受ける権利も持つ、という事の上にあります。「... 信者が跪くからという理由で、その信者に御聖体拝領を拒否することは、秘跡に於いて牧者によって助けられるべきキリスト信者の最も基本的な権利（教会法典 第213条）に対する重大な侵害だと考えられねばなりません。各司教協議会に許可された適応に従って、当聖省が立つ姿勢を規準とすることを認めた地域に於いても、... 御聖体拝領で跪くことを選んだ信者たちがその事だけによっては御聖体拝領を拒否されない、ということが条件であったのです」（典礼秘跡省の2002年7月1日の書簡； ノティティエ 2002, 582-585）

A razão fundamental para esta decisão fundamenta-se no DIREITO que os fiéis cristãos têm em também receber a Sagrada Comunhão de joelhos. “...a negação da Santa Comunhão a um dos fiéis, por causa de sua postura de joelhos, de ser considerada uma violação grave de um dos direitos mais básicos dos fiéis cristãos, nomeadamente daquele de serem assistidos pelos seus pastores através dos sacramentos (CDC, cânon 213). Mesmo lá onde a Congregação aprovou a legislação em que declarou o estar de pé como posição para a Santa Comunhão, de acordo com as adaptações permitidas às Conferências Episcopais... assim o fez estipulando que aos fiéis que comungam, e escolhem de ajoelhar, não deve ser negada a Santa Comunhão por este motivo. (S. Congregação para o Culto Divino e Disciplina dos Sacramentos, Carta de 1 de julho 2002; Notitiae (2002), 582-585).

The fundamental reason for this decision is based on the RIGHT which the Christian faithful have in also receiving Holy Communion kneeling. "... The denial of Holy Communion to the faithful, because of his posture of kneeling, is to be considered a serious violation of the most basic rights of the Christian faithful, namely that of them to be assisted by his shepherds through the sacraments (CDC, canon 213). Even where the Congregation has approved the legislation that stated the stand position as for Holy Communion, in accordance with the adaptations permitted to the Conferences of Bishops ... so did stipulating that to the faithful who take communion and choose to kneel, the Holy Communion must not be denied by this motive. (Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Letter of July 1, 2002; Notitiae (2002), 582-585).

ここ数年、ベネディクト16世教皇様は、ローマで、また他の場所、彼の司牧訪問先でも、常に、跪いた信者に御聖体を与えておられます。教皇様の御意向は明らかです。しばしば忘れられがちになる〔上記の〕権利を回復なさろうとする一方、主要な目的は、御聖体がキリスト信者の生活の中で常に持たれるべき神聖視を強めようということであるのです。

Nestes últimos anos, o Santo Padre o Papa Bento XVI, tanto em Roma, como em outros lugares, por ocasião de suas visitas apostólicas, tem distribuído a Sagrada Comunhão para fiéis que se colocam sempre de joelhos. A intenção do Santo Padre é clara: além de recuperar um direito muitas vezes esquecido, fundamentalmente visa fortalecer uma visão de sacralidade que a Sagrada Eucaristia deve sempre ter na vida do cristão.

In recent years, the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, both in Rome and elsewhere, during his apostolic visits, has always been distributing Holy Communion to the faithful kneeling. The intention of the Holy Father is clear: besides recovering a right very often forgotten, mainly it aims to strengthen a vision of sacredness that the Holy Eucharist must always have in the Christian life.

カテドラルでの司教ミサについてこのような方法を定める一方、私は、尊敬すべき司祭の方々にも、御聖体を拝領したいと望む信者たちのために、ご自分の教会また共同体に於いて、この方法を寛大に好んで下さるようお願いします。

Além de determinar tal uso na Catedral, nas Missas presididas pelo Bispo Diocesano, peço também aos senhores padres que generosamente favoreçam este uso em suas Paróquias e Comunidades, para aqueles fiéis que assim gostariam de receber a Sagrada Comunhão.

Besides determining such use in the Cathedral, Masses presided by the Diocesan Bishop, I also ask the honorable priests who generously favor this use in their Parishes and Communities, so for those faithful who wish to receive Holy Communion.
