“Cristo Risorto” Church of Padergnone (Part 1)
|
|
“Cristo Risorto” = Risen Christ
I got the information about this surprising parish church through the magazine of Father Luigi Villa, “Chiesa viva” (No. 420 - October 2009).
But first, as I said before, I don't blindly accept any investigator. And second, I cannot read Italian.
However, the language was not necessary at all for me to be surprised at this church. Only some photographs were enough. One Oriental who cannot read Italian had no difficulty to recognize the abnormality of this church. Therefore, if Italian people who have read the article of the magazine of Father Luigi Villa would not recognize that, it's very strange.
As for the detail of this church, please read “Chiesa viva”. I display only a few photographs here.

What kind of connection with Christianity do these have?
What kind of transformation of Savior's cross are these?
Both look like weird creature.
What kind of explanation (the excuse) do we allow them to say?
Strange things
The baptismal font appears to be coiled by a snake. There is a dagger at the foot of statue of a
lady. The chalice for this church reminds me of the dark forest of the sculpture of Paul VI Hall.
Grotesque entrance door
What is this?
Snake!
There are two snakes on the middle of the left door!
This is the door of a Catholic church!
This is put at the position of the doorknob.
Who on earth do want to touch this!
Unbelievable!
In spite of this...
Probably on September 23 , 2007, the day
of the consecration of this church. Left: Msgr. Ivo Panteghini Center: Ex-Bishop, Msgr. Giulio Sanguineti
